Goop is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Polymorph from the planet Viscosia.[merch 1]
Appearance[]
Ben as Goop[]
Being a 200-pound single-celled organism[merch 2][DM 1] that is neither liquid nor solid but a colloidal suspension,[DM 2] Goop is a humanoid pile of goo that can take any shape at will. Goop has bright green eyes and an Anti-Gravity Projector that allows him to be mobile in Earth's gravity. His brain is spread throughout his body.[DM 3]
In Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, Goop wore the original Omnitrix/Ultimatrix symbol on his chest.
In Heroes United, the black outlines around Goop's eyes were thicker.
In Omniverse, Goop has a nose-like beak and an amoeba-like shape. His Anti-Gravity Projector has been redesigned and the Omnitrix symbol is on the top of it.
Albedo as Negative Goop[]
In Alien Force, Negative Goop looked exactly like Ben's Goop.
In Omniverse, Negative Goop looks mostly the same as Ben's Goop except his body, eyes, and the Ultimatrix on his Anti-Gravity Projector are recolored red.
Powers and Abilities[]
Goop can stretch, bend, deform and regenerate himself into any shape or form with ease, ranging from a pseudopod-protruding glob of goo to a stretchy, bouncing ball, and everything in between.[merch 1] This allows him to turn himself into a cushion to break others' falls.[2] Goop can also change his density depending on his desire.[DM 4] His slime can increase in density to the point of breaking a metal pipe by the sheer force of its impact.[3]
Due to being made of slime, Goop can hold objects inside his body. He can also do this with individuals to protect them.[4]
Goop is capable of making himself acidic at will. His acid is able to dissolve a large variety of materials.[5][6][7][8]
Goop is able to generate and expel slime from any part of his body for use as offensive weaponry,[merch 1] even as spit despite having no visible mouth.[9][10] The slime he generates can either be highly acidic[11] or adhesive.[9] He can shoot it in continuous streams similar to a water hose[11] or in blob-like projectiles.[9] If he needs to, Goop is even able to generate slime to neutralize his own acid.[10]
Goop possesses enhanced strength and can increase the impact power of his attacks by stretching himself backwards and using the recoil to launch enemies with a single punch.[12]
Goop can breathe underwater, as seen when he was in the sewer waiting to ambush Ben. Goop can also stick and scale on walls without difficulty.[3]
Goop can survive being atomized across an entire planet's worth of water volume, such as he did with Piscciss. Moreover, he was able to generate enough additional goop to color all the planet's water green.[13]
Goop can survive in intense heat, such as the environment of his home planet Viscosia.[merch 2]
Goop can pass under an enemy's foot in order to make them slip.[14][15]
Goop can produce multiple slime tentacles from his body to grab multiple opponents.[15]
Similar to Ghostfreak, Goop has movable eyes.[DJW 1]
Goop can mimic the shape of simple objects well enough to fool opponents, provided they don't look too closely.[merch 2][merch 3]
Equipment[]
Goop's Anti-Gravity Projector allows him to change his shape, form, length, width, and height at will. If Goop loses his Anti-Gravity Projector, the Omnitrix/Ultimatrix can immediately generate a new one.[DM 5]
Thanks to his Anti-Gravity Projector, Goop is capable of high-speed flight and levitation, being able to easily evade Trombipulor's shots.[16]
With his Anti-Gravity Projector, Goop has enough strength to dismantle a Techadon robot from the inside[17] and effortlessly subdue Magister Prior Gilhil, someone who could easily overpower an armored Osmosian.[18] Goop has even defeated both Gwen and Kevin in combat with both his strength and slime. His Anti-Gravity Projector also has enough strength to pull continental-like masses of goop together, such as the goop-infected waters of Piscciss.[13]
Goop can control and launch his Anti-Gravity Projector at enemies to attack them due to the edges of it being razor-sharp.[3]
Weaknesses[]
Goop is limited to his Anti-Gravity Projector controlling his body. If it is separated from him or turned off, Goop's body collapses into an immobilized puddle until he recollects it. He can only struggle to move since he cannot change shape or make appendages to move without his Anti-Gravity Projector.
Goop's Anti-Gravity Projector can be disabled by a shot from a Positron Blaster, which makes him spin around extremely quickly and then separate into multiple parts.[12] Goop's Anti-Gravity Projector can also be switched off.[6]
Goop is vulnerable to suction, as shown when he got sucked into Trombipulor's nose.[16] Goop is also vulnerable to strong winds.[19]
Goop is vulnerable to being super heated and vaporized by an Evolved Galvan's energy beams.[20]
Despite being able to survive being atomized, Goop will start to hurt if he is, at the very least, spun very quickly in a centrifuge and beginning to separate into his constituent compounds.[21]
Goop can be affected by a Nemuina's sleeping dust.[DJW 2]
Goop is vulnerable to being hypnotized.[DJW 3]

Ben 10: Alien Force[]
Goop is a playable alien in the Nintendo DS version of the game.
Goop is initially unavailable but is unlocked upon completion of the Warehouse 2-1 level.
Goop is able to stretch his limbs, deform his body in various shapes to attack and turn into a pile of slime to evade enemy attacks.
Goop is capable of throwing blobs of goo and spraying acid from his hands. He can also rotate his feet around like helicopter blades to damage enemies.
Goop is not required to be used at all in order to complete the game.
Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks[]
Goop is a playable alien in the game.
Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable Versions[]
Due to the Omnitrix rebooting after Ben's abuse of the quick-change feature during his battle with an animated Mr. Smoothy mascot, Goop was temporarily locked until Ben's arrival on Terradino.
Goop has the ability to stick to slime-covered walls and wall jump, thus reaching otherwise inaccessible areas.
Acid Hose is an unlockable combo move for Goop.
Goop is vital for progression on the Terradino, MorOtesi, and Null Void levels of the game.
Nintendo DS Version[]
Only Goop and Swampfire are available on Ben's arsenal upon his arrival on Vulpin.
Goop is able to safely walk on the acid rain puddles littering Vulpin's surface and is the only alien form capable of defeating Darkstar.
Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex[]
Goop is a playable alien in the game.
Due to the Omnitrix shorting out after Ben fiddled with it, Goop was temporarily locked until the beginning of Level 10.
Goop is able to turn into a pile of slime to fall through specially designated holes and to slide under incredibly small openings, thereby navigating areas Ben and all of his other alien forms are unable to access.

Trivia[]
- Goop is one of the five aliens who escaped from the original Omnitrix; the others are Way Big, Ghostfreak, Chromastone, and Spidermonkey.
- Ben believes Goop's high-pitched voice prevents others from taking him seriously.[15]
- The source of Goop's voice has changed throughout his appearances:
- In The Gauntlet, his voice came from his Anti-Gravity Projector.
- In his subsequent Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, it came from himself.
- In Omniverse, it comes from his Anti-Gravity Projector again.
- When Goop spoke in Blukic and Driba Go to Mr. Smoothy's, a crackle of static was heard at the end of each line as if he was speaking through a walkie-talkie.
- Unlike other aliens, during nighttime scenes, Goop's eyes are shaded.
- In the Portuguese dub, in certain episodes like Darkstar Rising, Goop does not conventionally shout his name, he just shouts random grunts.
- Goop's Anti-Gravity Projector isn't part of his Polymorph biology; he just has one due to the difference of gravity between Viscosia and Earth.[DM 3] The projector is created using the same mechanism in which nanomachines break down Ben's clothing during his transformations.[DM 7]
- Goop's Anti-Gravity Projector became a substitute for the missing Anti-Gravity Multiplier on the planet of Piscciss.[13]
- It was Derrick J. Wyatt's idea to put Goop's Omnitrix symbol on his Anti-Gravity Projector in Omniverse. In his first drawing, the Omnitrix symbol was supposed to be floating inside Goop.[DJW 4]
- Goop was originally supposed to appear in It's Not Easy Being Gwen to fight Dr. Animo's Mutant Frogs during Emily's piano recital.[JHK 1]
- During the pre-production stage of Alien Force, Goop had concept art drawn by Eric Canete.[EC 1]
- Derrick believed that each alternate counterpart of Goop has a different color and flavor: Ben Prime's Goop is green/kiwi-flavored, Negative Goop is red/raspberry-flavored, Muck Amuck is blue/blue-raspberry-flavored,[DJW 5] Bad Goop is mint green/licorice-flavored, Mad Goop is orange/sour orange-flavored, Nega Goop is grey/black pepper-flavored, Benzarro's Goop is purple/grape-flavored,[DJW 6] Argitrix Timeline Argit's Goop is peach/peach-flavored,[DJW 7] and Gwen 10's is pink/strawberry-flavored.[DJW 8][DJW 9]
