Pyronites[1][2] are an extraterrestrial species of plasma-based lifeforms from the star-like planet Pyros.[merch 1]
Appearance[]
Pyronites are a humanoid plasma-based species that are composed of a bright inner plasma body covered by volcanic rocks.[pop-up 1][3] As fire-based entities, their bodies radiate high amounts of heat. Their feet have a slight oval like design with only two toes and one back toe.
Infant Pyronites are much smaller and thinner, and child aged Pyronites have oversized heads and higher voices.[4]
Female Pyronites are basically the same as male Pyronites, except they have more curved figures, and their chests slightly jut outward. Their arms are thinner than a male's. Their faces are longer and more curved.[5]
Pyronites are mostly colored yellow, orange, or red.[DJW 1] Some Pyronites and those infected with an Earth cold virus, are colored blue.[DJW 1] Some Pyronites are even colored white.[DJW 1]

History[]
Sometime prior to the Original Series, Pyros warred with Piscciss for unknown reasons.[pop-up 2][6]
During a war on Anur Transyl, captured Pyronite energy was used by the Transylians to incinerate[DJW 2] and wipe out the Vladats.[pop-up 3][7]
Technology[]
A few coats of Pyronite wax can make anything completely fireproof. Pyronite polish is known for its ability to withstand extreme temperatures.[8]
Powers and Abilities[]
Pyronites are pyrokinetics, meaning they have the ability to generate and manipulate intense heat and fire from their bodies. They can form fire into any shape that they choose, commonly fireballs that they can project from their arms and eyes.[merch 2] They can also enhance the fire in their hands for flaming punches,[9] and can breathe fire like a dragon.[10] To top it all off, they can even absorb heat and fire from external sources,[11][DR 1] allowing them to put out flames as fast as they can start one, which greatly diminishes the hazardous aspect of a Pyronite's pyrokinetic physiology.[12] Pyronites also have the ability to pyrokinetically make objects catch fire from a small distance away, as seen when Heatblast set Gwen's shoe on fire.[3]
A Pyronite's fire can become hot enough to melt a tank[13] or a road, as Heatblast almost buried Vilgax in molten tar when he was younger.[9] Several years later, Heatblast was able to bury him in the ground up to his shoulders.[14]
Pyronites can make their flames explosive, explaining why their fire tended to cause explosions on a regular basis. On that note, they can even create fire fuses with the snap of their fingers.[15] They can also create fire bombs, which Heatblast used to destroy the planetarium that the Nosedeenians were possessing.[10] They can create fire spears shaped like crescents that can be used as piercing, slicing, or explosive weapons, as shown when Heatblast battled a swarm of Vilgax's Mechadroids.[9] They can also create fire disks and throw them as slicing or explosive weapons as seen when Heatblast battled Dr. Animo's mutant hornet.[16] Furthermore, they're able to create a fire dagger, which Heatblast used to slice through parts of S.A.M.'s water form.[17]
Pyronites can transport themselves and others to safety inside by making fire pillars or vortexes without burning them with their fire,[DR 2] as seen when Heatblast saved a boy and his mother from a burning building,[11] or transported himself on top of a subway train[18] and when he transported Kangaroo Kommando down to safety.[19]
Pyronites are capable of greatly amplifying the heat they give off, as Heatblast became hot enough to melt Vilgax's electrical net,[9] as well as being able to solidify slushy substances or creatures, such as Lenopans.[20] Pyronites are also capable of becoming extremely hot enough to flash vaporize the Fountain of Youth and destroy a large portion of the cave they were in by 4-year-old Heatblast just having a temper tantrum.[4] Similarly, Pyronites can increase the temperature of their heat and fire with his speed, as seen when Heatblast vaporized S.A.M.'s water form by racing around it until his fire became incredibly hot.[17]
Pyronites can create a small fire-board on which they can ride at high speeds by launching fire backwards like an engine.[17] Pyronites are also capable of high-speed flight by propelling themselves forward in the air.[9][2][21][22]
Pyronites are capable of using terrakinesis, shown by Heatblast levitating a stone into the air.[23] One result of this capability is the ability to surf through the air on a board of rock.[13][24][25] This was first demonstrated when Ben taught Alan how to master his own flying abilities.[26]
Pyronites have enhanced strength, as Heatblast was able to hold his own with his fists against Viktor, making the latter stumble several steps backwards.[13] He was also able to lift a broken portion of a house, rip off and buckle down the door of a car[11] and stop the Wooden Bell from rolling, which was said to weigh heavier than 3,000 pounds.[27][22]
Pyronites have enhanced durability thanks to the rocks and plasma energy that make up his body, as Heatblast was able to survive getting thrown through multiple buildings at high speed by Vilgax with no damage,[9] as well as Malware's laser blasts.[23] He also casually shrugged off multiple laser blasts from Rojo[15] and survived the Chimeran Hammer's explosion.[9]
Pyronites are capable of jumping exceptionally high.[28][13]
Pyronites can swim and use their powers underwater, but with a lower intensity. Ironically, they can even breathe underwater despite being fire-based aliens.[12]
Pyronites immune to fire.[11] However, Heatblast has been shown to be hurt by the force of a fire attack.[18]
Pyronites are immune to being possessed by Ectonurites because of their solar-like radiation.[DJW 3]
Pyronites are immune to being controlled by a Vladat via their Corrupturas as long as they can burn them off their body with a small flare.[DJW 4]
Pyronites are cold and ice resistant thanks to the high temperature they produce, allowing them to thaw their way out of ice, such as an Evolved Necrofriggian's ice flames.[29]
Due to being made of plasma and charcoal-like crusts, Pyronites glow in the dark like a candle.[18][30]
Pyronites are capable of generating smoke, shown off by Heatblast when he created a large cloud of smoke to psych out the Nosedeenians before they were able to get to him.[10] Pyronites can also smack a body of water in order to create an offensive cloud of steam.[31]
When infected with a cold, a Pyronite's powers are completely inverted, making their pyrokinesis becoming cryokinesis (the ability to create and control cold and ice), and they are constructed of icy fire rather than regular fire. While in this state, they can shoot blasts of ice from their hands that could freeze and cool down a nuclear reactor, and create blue "ice-fire" balls to encase and trap their opponents in.[32]
Weaknesses[]
A Pyronite's fire attacks are useless against anything diamond-related or fireproof in general, such as Petrosapiens,[33] Crabdozers,[22] and weapons and/or armor made from their DNA.[34]
If exposed to enough water, wind or fire-extinguishing substances, a Pyronite's fire will be extinguished, though they can still heat up and reignite his fire in short amounts of time.
Pyronites are at a massive disadvantage against a Crabdozer due to their fireproof skin.[35][36]
Pyronites can get dizzy by flying around in a continuous circle at extremely high speeds.[17]
Pyronites can be knocked down by an Aerophibian's neuroshock blasts, as demonstrated with Alan.[26]
Despite the Corruptura immunity, A Pyronite can still be controlled by Corrupturas unless they are burned off their body.[DJW 4]
Despite having bodies made of fire and resisting ice, A Pyronite can still be rendered immobile by ice until he melts it off.[29][2]
Pyronites cannot survive in the vacuum of space.[DR 3]
When under the effects of a cold, A Pyronite's pyrokinesis is replaced with cryokinesis. Despite the new powers they get, A Pyronite works completely "nonfunctional" to their fiery nature and the cold still prejudiced their health.[32]

Etymology[]
The name Pyronite comes from "pyro-" relating to heat/fire, and "-nite" from ignite.

- Pyronites can have zits just like humans, but they pop and are consumed by fire almost instantly.[MW 1]
- If a Pyronite wanted to wear an ID Mask, they would need a special one designed to be heat-resistant.[DM 1]
- During Cartoon Network's 20th Birthday Celebration, there was a live-action commercial of a family of Pyronites throwing a birthday party for a young one who seemed about four or five.[41]
- There was a grown male who looked exactly like Heatblast from Race Against Time, a grown female who looked similar except that the flames on her head blew to either side, and an elderly Pyronite who had low flames and blue hands.
