Loboans are werewolf-like aliens from the moon Luna Lobo[merch 1] orbiting the planet Anur Transyl.[pop-up 1][1][2]
Appearance[]
Loboans have grey or brown fur, some have a long flowing mane, and a bushy tail, with three or four sharp claws on each hand. One of them serves as the thumb, while the others serve as the fingers. They also have spiked elbows and shoulders.
Their jaws have four hinges and can open outward. The inside of a Loboan's mouth has been shown to be purple, green or red.
Some Loboans in the Protector of Earth Timeline have white fur.
Behavior[]
There are good and evil Loboans, but their social norms are not the same as humans.[DJW 1]
There are allegedly wild packs of Loboan on Luna Lobo, who mostly act like savage beasts with little sense of reasoning. While these feral beasts mostly hunt in packs, it is a lone wolf that often proves to be the most savage Loboan of all.[merch 1]
Loboans seen on Anur Transyl display higher self-control and seem to be able to integrate themselves into civilized life. However, they do not appear to be friendly towards beings from outside the Anur System and view them as monsters.
Diet[]
Loboans have voracious appetites and will eat anything, including others of their own kind.[pop-up 2][1]

By opening their quadra-lobed muzzles into four separate parts, Loboans can emit a powerful concussive[merch 2] ultrasonic howl that can either reflect incoming projectiles[3] or propel themselves upward like a rocket booster.[1] Their sonic howls are powerful enough to damage Petrosapiens, which was demonstrated by Kevin 11,000.[4]
Much like ordinary wolves, Loboans have sharp fangs and formidable claws, the latter of which Blitzwolfer used to scratch the Jungle Guardian.[5] They also have extraordinary night vision.[1][DJW 2]
Loboans possesses enhanced strength, as Blitzwolfer was able to carry Gwen and Kai, and then Max and Wes without difficulty, as well as restrain the Werewolf, who lifted and threw an Arburian Pelarota over his head.[1]
Loboans have enhanced durability, shown when Blitzwolfer didn't sustain much damage after being knocked into a tree at a high speed.[5] Crüjo was also able to survive being shot by Rad's gatling gun.[6]
Loboans can jump exceptionally high, as Blitzwolfer was able to leap up to the top of Nyancy Chan's huge ball of pink yarn while chasing her.[7]
Loboans have enhanced speed and reflexes, as seen when Blitzwolfer fought the Red Knight on Big Ben.[3]
Loboans have enhanced senses of smelling and hearing, giving them great tracking and detection abilities.[1]
Loboans are immune to the effects of Corrodium, as demonstrated by the Werewolf.[8]
Loboans are immune to lava, as demonstrated by the Werewolf.[1]
Loboans are able to scale walls, as demonstrated by the Werewolf.[1]
Loboan feet are prehensile.[3]
Weaknesses[]
Loboans cannot use their sonic howl if their muzzle is forced shut by something, such as Thep Khufans' bandages or a Plumbers' specialized mouth cover.[9]
Like most Earth canines, they can't handle loud noises, like that of giant bells[10] or other Loboans' sonic howls[DJW 3] because of their sensitive hearing.
Loboans can be controlled and hypnotized by Vladats via their Corrupturas.[11]
Loboans can easily be scared by Toepick's species.[DJW 4]

Etymology[]
Loboan is a play on the word "Lobo", which is Spanish, Portuguese, and Filipino for wolf.
Trivia[]
- In Ben 10: Protector of Earth, this species is referred to as Fangface.
- Originally, all Loboan cubs had green eyes, whereas adults had red and pale orange eyes.[pop-up 4][1] This was retconned in Omniverse, as the Loboans seen on Anur Transyl had eyes of varying colors.[2]
- When a Loboan's muzzle split in the Original Series, their tongues retracted and stowed themselves away.[TP 1] This is slightly altered in Omniverse, as their tongues stay in place and split in half.
- Duncan Rouleau once stated that Blitzwolfer's sonic howls are more powerful than Echo Echo's sonic screams,[DR 1] and by extension, a Loboan's sonic howls are more powerful than a Sonorosian's sonic screams. He later did not recall making the original statement, elaborating that the answer to the question depends on what the story needs.[DR 2]
- The Loboans' ability to create powerful gusts with their mouths could also be a reference to the folkloric character the Big Bad Wolf, who has a similar ability in the tale of The Three Little Pigs.
