Thep Khufans are a mummy-like species from the desert planet Anur Khufos in the Anur System.[merch 1]
Appearance[]
Thep Khufans are mummy-like creatures composed entirely of organic bandages made from an alien material that feels like old cloth but have elasticity.[DJW 1]
They are thin, humanoid-shaped with slight ape-like features on their limbs. They also wear Wadjet headpieces on their forehead, minus nose and mouth. Their clothing resemble that of the ancient Egyptians, consisting of dhoti -like garments on their waist, collars and two bandages dangling from their upper back. They wear golden cuffs on their feet and wrists. Their bodies are hollow, allowing them to store things in their chest. There are gaps between their bandages on their wrists, chest and ankles, as well as their eyes, that glow any color. They have a beak-like toothed mouth with a long tongue beneath their head bandages. Some Thep Khufans have bandages that stick out from their heads like hair, while others wear headdresses and tall hats that are somewhat similar to the Crowns of Egypt and the Nefertiti's Cap Crown.
Thep Khufans have thousands of tendrils stemming from their hard heads.[pop-up 1][1]
In Ben 10: Protector of Earth, a more powerful version of Thep Khufans is revealed, Cyclone Khufans. Their bandages are a blackish color, and their clothing are blue and gold. Their head resembles a gold headpiece, shaped like a bird's beak. It is unknown if they exist in the main timeline.
Behavior[]
Thep Khufans live in deep, dark structures to keep themselves away from their planet's heat and wind.[pop-up 1][1]
Some Khufans sleep in sarcophagi, the more well off of them, anyway. The poorer ones can't afford them, so they are a kind of status symbol among the Thep Khufan wealthy elite.[DJW 2]
Powers and Abilities[]
Thep Khufans can generate a steady supply of the bandages that make up their bodies.[2] They can extend their bandages' length and control their movement for various purposes, such as wrapping, grappling, lifting, and moving around objects and opponents. They can also detach their bandages after wrapping them around someone, to become a permanent restraint.[3]
The strength of each individual bandage is powerful enough to punch holes in the ground and restrain Fourmungousaur, who has the combined strength of both Four Arms and Humungousaur,[4] and they are sharp enough to cut through vines grown by a Florauna's fruit-like pods, as demonstrated by Kuphulu.[5] Thep Khufans can also use their bandages to create a sturdy wall.[6]
Being composed of bandages, Thep Khufans can reshape their bodies at will. This allows them to split themselves apart to dodge attacks and reform to counter-attack.[3] Additionally, by reducing themselves down to a few bandages, Thep Khufans can fly around and slip through extremely tight spaces or small openings. This allows them to escape various traps or maneuver through cramped areas.[3]
Thep Khufans can regenerate themselves and recover almost instantly from many types of injuries, such as being torn into confetti by a large fan, as demonstrated by the Mummy.[7]
Thep Khufans can survive in the vacuum of space, as demonstrated by the Mummy.[8]
Despite being made of bandages, Thep Khufans are immune to being moistened and having their mobility reduced by water. As such, they can survive underwater.[2]
Thep Khufans are immune to the effects of Corrodium and can see in the dark,[DJW 3] the former of which has been demonstrated by the Mummy.[7][8] Thep Khufans can also block out Corrodium radiation with their bandages, allowing them to carry the dangerous crystal inside their bodies without irradiating anything nearby, as demonstrated by the Mummy.[7][8]
Thep Khufans have a bioluminescent body and glowing eyes, as demonstrated by the Mummy.[7]
Thep Khufans can completely unravel their body to create a pile of bandages to cushion a landing. Their faces separate from the rest of the bandages in the process.[2]
Thep Khufans with experience with magic and spell casting can perform magic similar to Egyptian curses.[DJW 4]
Weaknesses[]
Thep Khufans can be tangled up in their own bandages, as demonstrated with Kuphulu.[5]
Thep Khufans are susceptible to strong winds and suction forces.[7][8]
Thep Khufans can be frozen solid by liquid nitrogen, as demonstrated with the Mummy.[7]
Thep Khufans can be controlled and hypnotized by Vladats via their Corrupturas, as demonstrated with Kuphulu and many other Thep Khufan residents of Anur Transyl.[9]
Thep Kufans can easily be scared by a member of Toepick's species.[DJW 5]

- Thep Khufans are some of the only beings who can handle Corrodium without special protection.[pop-up 2][8]

- When asked if Thep Khufans can fold their hands like origami and shape them into weapons, similar to Petrosapiens, Derrick answered that they maybe can do so though it would be like hitting someone with a paper Mache boulder.[DJW 7]
