Lightning Volt is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Transylian from the planet Anur Transyl in the Anur System[merch 1] and the Dimension 23 equivalent of Frankenstrike.
Appearance[]
Lightning Volt's appearance is based on Frankenstrike's appearance in the Original Series. His skin is grey and one-toned rather than two, despite having the same scars. He has an additional scar on his left eyebrow. He has gold conductors on his back, with light blue coils and bright blue bulbs. In additional to the bolts on his back, neck, and chest, he has 4 bolts for each side of his shoulders and elbows; all of which are a dark brown. His gauntlets are gold; his boots are gold with bright blue slits; and he has gold accents on the ribbing of his pants, which are now a very dark blue. The Omnitrix is located on a light blue stripe on his belt.
Powers and Abilities[]
Lightning Volt has an electromagnetic body with two conductor coils on his back that allow him to generate and manipulate blue lightning and electromagnetism.[1] Lightning Volt can conduct electricity generated by his metallic conductor coils throughout his entire body. Using this ability, Lightning Volt can conduct electricity through his fists to give his attacks extra damage,[2] though he is unable to absorb or conduct electricity from external sources.[DJW 1]
Lightning Volt can emit his lightning in the form of waves that can travel along flat surfaces.[3] Lightning Volt can also shoot massive concentrated beams of electricity.[4]
Lightning Volt possesses enhanced strength, as Frankenstrike was able to punch through a Techadon robot and knock its arm off.[5] He is also strong enough to carry an Appoplexian over his shoulders.[6]
Lightning Volt possesses enhanced durability, as Frankenstrike was durable enough to withstand being blasted by one of Phil's electric blasts. Lightning Volt also has enhanced reflexes, as Frankenstrike was able to dodge the same blasts easily.[2]
Lightning Volt has enhanced jumping, as shown when Frankenstrike was able to jump and hold onto a high ladder when waiting to ambush Phil.[2]
Lightning Volt is actually quite fast, as demonstrated when he was able to keep up with Rath.[6]
Lightning Volt can survive in the vacuum of space.[1]
Lightning Volt is immune to the effects of Corrodium[merch 1] and can see in the dark.[DJW 2]
Lightning Volt is resistant against extreme heat, as demonstrated by Viktor.[7] Lightning Volt is also resistant to strong winds, as demonstrated when Frankenstrike was able to hold onto a space shuttle when Viktor opened up a portal to the Null Void.
Lightning Volt can emit magnetism from his hands or his feet, allowing him to attach to metal structures.[1]
Lightning Volt possesses technokinesis, as Viktor was able to control cables with his mind. Lightning Volt can also merge with technology, as demonstrated when Viktor plugged the aforementioned cables into himself.[8][1]
Weaknesses[]
The two generators on Lightning Volt's shoulders are the source of his electricity, which means opponents like Phil can absorb his electricity through them.[2]
Lightning Volt is unable to fit through small or tight spaces.[4][3]
Lightning Volt be harmed by external electricity, as shown when Frankenstrike blasted Viktor with a charge strong enough to send him flying into a Null Void portal.[1] Rook and Scout also used tasers to incapacitate Viktor.[9]
Lightning Volt can be controlled and hypnotized by Vladats via their Corrupturas, as demonstrated by Viktor and many other Transylian residents of Anur Transyl.[10]
Lightning Volt can be frozen in ice, as demonstrated by Viktor.[7]
Lightning Volt can easily be scared by Fright Face's species.[DJW 3]
