Crystalsapiens are a crystalline alien species from the planet Petropia.[1]
Appearance[]
Crystalsapiens are silicon-based lifeforms made of highly durable crystal. Most of their bodies are covered in a protective silicon-based rock, while the exposed crystal is magenta. They have purple bodies, legs and arms with several black lines and dots on them. They also sport magenta shards all over their body: six on their back, two on their chest and one on top of their small, purple head, resembling a horn. They also have one large, cyclopean eye.
History[]
A legend says that the Crystalsapiens' home planet is MorOtesi, however this is not true.[DM 1]
The only Crystalsapien in existence is Sugilite (not counting Chromastone), the guardian of Petropia, the homeworld of the Petrosapiens, who lives on Petropia with them.[DM 2]
Powers and Abilities[]
Crystalsapiens have the ability to produce rainbow-colored energy from inside their bodies. They can expel this energy outward as powerful beams from either their hands,[2] the shards on their body,[3] or their eye,[4] but only to a limited extent, as they will eventually run out of energy until they absorb more.[5] Their beams are powerful enough to melt through a truck trailer[6] and destroy an entire turret.[7] Crystalsapiens also have dynakinesis, allowing them to control the direction of their energy with extreme precision, as shown when Chromastone created a ring of energy that formed into several small, scattered beams.[7] Crystalsapiens can also use their energy to corrupt and manipulate external sources of energy, such as mana, as seen when Chromastone dissipated a bubble of mana that Gwen had generated around him.[8]
Crystalsapiens have the ability to allow nearly any kind of energy, including lasers; electricity; mana;[4][5] and any type of electromagnetic radiation,[MW 1] from ultraviolet light to cosmic rays,[merch 1][merch 2] to collect within or phase through their body without harm; which they can then convert into rainbow energy. Absorbing external energy will supercharge a Crystalsapien's beams, making them more powerful depending on what was absorbed. For instance, when the Dragon attacked Chromastone with its powerful energy blast, he absorbed it and subdued the Dragon with an equally powerful wave of energy.[9] Similarly, when Gwen gave Chromastone a large amount of mana for him to absorb, he was able to shoot powerful energy blasts to damage Dagon.[5]
Crystalsapiens are able to redirect energy attacks instead of absorbing them.[10]
As well as being immune to electricity, Crystalsapiens can also conduct it back at the attacker, as seen when Lucy attacked Chromastone with an electric cable.[11]
Crystalsapiens are capable of instant levitation[5] and flight.[12] While flying, they can leave behind an energy trail in the air.[13]
Crystalsapiens possess enhanced strength, allowing them to overpower strong opponents, such as a Techadon-enhanced Cash, with their bare hands.[10] Technically speaking, they are physically stronger than Methanosians, but weaker than Vaxasaurians.[DM 3]
Crystalsapiens possess enhanced durability thanks to their very dense and crystalline skin,[merch 3] which allows them to withstand being thrown against several vehicles at once.[10]
Crystalsapiens are capable of jumping exceptionally high.[14][4] They are also quite agile.[15]
Crystalsapiens can survive in the vacuum of space, as demonstrated by Sugilite when he was traveling to what was left of Petropia.[1]
Due to the species being made of super dense silicon-based crystals, Crystalsapiens are immune to possession from a Xenocite.[6]
Crystalsapiens are immune to the possession of Ectonurites due to their ability to generate light.[DJW 1]
Crystalsapiens are resistant to intense heat, as seen when Chromastone resisted the Dragon's energy breath.[9]
Crystalsapiens have the power to generate focused gamma rays[merch 2] and prismatic explosions.[merch 4]
Crystalsapiens can project a beam of light from their hands for illumination purposes.[6]
Crystalsapiens can use their energy to increase the temperature of their bodies, to the point where they can become hot enough to dissolve an Arachnichimp's webs.[15]
If big enough light source were to shine through them, Crystalsapiens can create big, beautiful rainbows in the sky.[DJW 2]
Weaknesses[]
Crystalsapiens are incapable of absorbing certain types of energy, such as the energy of the extradimensional field that protects the Contumelia from the Annihilarrgh.[2]
Crystalsapiens have a limit to how much energy they can absorb at once, as Chromastone once tried to absorb all the mana from the Sorcerer's Engine but was overwhelmed to the point of almost crumbling apart.[13]
In addition to Crystalsapiens having a limit to how much they can absorb, they also cannot absorb the energy released by an Annihilarrgh because they would be instantly disintegrated if they tried.[DJW 3]
Crystalsapiens can be harmed by electricity while it is being conducted by water.[16]
Crystalsapiens can be controlled by Vladats via their Corrupturas.[DJW 4]

Trivia[]
- Crystalsapiens are the only known species in the galaxy to naturally have only one living member. Other species with only one living individual, namely the Petrosapiens and Vladats, were the last of their kind following an extinction event.
- At the present, only Lord Transyl retains this status due to the restoration of the Petrosapiens.[1]
