Devlin Levin is Kevin's son from an alternate timeline.[note 1]
Appearance[]
Devlin bears a striking resemblance to Kevin when he was his age. He is tall for his age and has long black hair pulled back in a straight ponytail with the sides of his head shaved. He also has dark blue eyes and pale skin. He wears a dark gray short-sleeved hoodie, a black long-sleeved shirt, black pants, black and white shoes, and a bandage around his right leg.
Personality[]
Devlin is a caring and kind person by heart and cares about the lives of innocent people. When Devlin and Ken first meet, they easily become friends.
History[]
Background[]
Devlin was born to Kevin 11,000 and an unnamed woman from a Saturn colony one year after Ben 10,000 met his 10-year-old past self. When Devlin was still a very young child, his father was once again captured and thrown in the Null Void.[pop-up 1][1] It is unknown what happened to his mother after that, but according to Devlin, he spent most of his childhood in the Null Void.
Ben 10[]
Devlin first appeared in Ken 10, where he came up with a plan to get his father back by tricking Ben 10,000's son, Ken Tennyson, into leading him to a Null Void Projector, which he used to free his father. However, when he finally managed to free Kevin, Devlin was heartbroken to learn that all his father wanted was revenge on the Tennyson family instead of being with him. This prompted Devlin to help Ben and Ken defeat Kevin.
After trapping his father in a Null Void Containment Egg, Devlin tried to leave but was stopped by Max. When Devlin asked if he was going to be placed in the Null Void as well, Kenny immediately stood in front of him protectively. Max and Ben offered him to be part of their family instead, which Devlin happily accepted.
Powers and Abilities[]
Devlin can change from human form to Devlin 11 (a copy of Kevin 11) at will and he gains all of the powers Kevin had in this form. However, he did not inherit Kevin's ability to absorb matter and energy.[pop-up 1][1] As a result, he does not suffer from the insanity that occurs when his father absorbs energy.

Trivia[]
- Devlin's life mirrors Kevin's from the Original Series. For instance, he met Ken in the same way Ben met Kevin; Ken went off after getting upset with Ben, much like how Ben went off after getting upset with Max.[9]
- While Devlin was approached with the same offer to join the team as Kevin was, Devlin accepted whereas Kevin declined.
- In the Omniverse Future Timeline, Devlin was grounded with Zed during the events of The End of an Era.[DJW 2][DJW 1]
Notes[]
- ↑ The Ben 10,000 from Omniverse is stated to be Ben Prime's true future self.[DJW 3]
- This is evidenced in-show by the fact that both the Ben 10,000[2][3] and the future Dr. Animo[4] from Omniverse recalled characters and events from the present day. Chrono-Spanner also frequently visits present day with effects of his actions manifest in his present.[5] This would not be possible if these characters belonged to an alternate timeline.
- This was due to the crew's preference of the original Ben 10,000 over the Ultimate Alien portrayal,[DJW 5] as well as executives wanting everything to be more like the Original Series.[DJW 4]
- Derrick J. Wyatt made several statements to corroborate the story, expanding on what is known from the Original Series, such as the backstory for the Biomnitrix invoking the plotline of Ben 10,000,[DJW 6] and the defining tragedy in Ben 10,000's life having now occurred at the age of 20,[DJW 7] "shifted" from the original age of 15.[pop-up 2][6]
- The writing of the show also indicated this viewpoint, with Ben identifying the future Dr. Animo from Animo Crackers to be the same as the one he encountered in Ben 10,000, and other efforts made throughout the last few seasons to align the story with the future timeline.
- Derrick responded to the matter by saying: "Your 'plot holes' are irrelevant. Time isn't completely fixed, it's shifting. Events can be subtly altered. But Ben 10,000 is the future for the Ben Prime timeline."[DJW 3] This can be interpreted as a retcon. This wiki, however, considers the two Ben 10,000s, and by extension, the two futures, separate.
